Hi all, just wondering on what people think is the best fingering for the chords below:

D|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4------------------------|
A|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4------------------------|
D|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4------------------------|

I've been playing them using my pinky for 6th string, ring finger for 5th string and middle finger for the 4th string. Is this the best way to play these chords or are practising and using barres better in the long run?

Thanks for any help.

A barre is the quickest and easiest way to play your example.

Yes, play a barre with one finger on the chords.

I played this awhile, and this was the easiest, fastest, and most comfortable fingering for me.

D|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4--|
A|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4--|
D|---0--3--4--0-6-/7--0--10--0--6-/7--0--5--0--3--4--|

i m i i p i i r i m

i= index finger
m= middle finger
r= ring finger
p= pinky finger

Now, this was the easiest way for me, but everybody is different. Normally I would go to the 6th fret to the 7th with index to middle finger, but that is a slide so you have to do it with the index. This sets you up perfect to play the 10th fret with your pinky. Some might use their ring there. I did use the ring finger coming down. You have to shift your hand anyway, and the ring finger is stronger. But like I said, this is the way I would do it, it may not work well for you.

Play this the way that is most comfortable to yourself.
