Chordmaster??

OK, I was looking at the Chordmaster product. I was thinking since I already have a palm, it would be a great way to carry at chord dictionary with me.

BUT..I happened to notice in this pic:

Is that C-chord correct in that pic? I am just a beginner, but I haven't seen a C-chord like that yet. (with a muted high e)

Yes it is, as long as you've got the notes C E G you've got a C major chord.

So, since I am new at this..

Should I or should I not be strumming the high e when I play the c-chord.
What is "more correct"?

They're both correct. Here's some (not all) of the open fingerings that will give you a C chord:

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-0-0-0-0-3-3-3-3-
-x-x-x-x-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-
-x-x-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-x-0-0-0-
-2-5-2-2-2-2-2-2-x-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-
-3-3-3-3-x-x-3-3-x-x-3-3-x-x-3-x-
-3-0-x-3-x-3-x-3-x-x-x-3-x-x-x-3-

As long as you have the notes C,E,G (and no others) in the chord, it doesn't matter how many times each note appears or where - it's a C major chord. Each fingering will give you a different sound; they're called voicings.

Thanks! That is what I needed to clear things up. Obviously I am new at this. I just started to "play" (learn) a couple weeks ago!
