Hi Sorry guys,
I know most hate these CBGs;
Question: To tune to CGCE flat, do I .........
Duh I figured it out the it is the bottom four strings NeanderPaul was using, normally DGBE; now CGCE flat I make my necks so they can hang.
Thanks! Dave
there are other tunings for four strings that could interest you. I have played ukulele. four strings are plenty to play many songs.
ukes are tuned GCEA (my dog has fleas). it is similar to a guitar with a capo on the fifth fret. the chord shapes vary.
here is a link that could be helpful.

be careful with some tunings. string tension is important, but an over taut string could break and ,worse, hurt the guitar.
