I have an Ashton AG131 for 6 years now and it has started showing its age. It has HSS pickups and the bridge and middle positions are gone. So, would it be worth to replace them with new ones or should i just buy a new guitar? By the way, i'm kind of a newbie so any tips/recommendations are welcome.
Are the pickups really gone, or has the selector switch given up?

any ways to test that? i switch from one pick up to the other and the sound stops from the amp.
Bypass the switch - connect the wires from the pickup to your cable and hit some strings

Probably one of these small cables inside is dead. If it's pickup fault, buy new one.
