Okay, while playing in Dropped D, I discovered this little "trick" of say...playing 3,3, and 5. That gives me 2 powerchords at once. Does this have a name?
Fsus2 or Csus4 - Some will argue that C sus is the only correct way to call it. Anyway, technically, it's not a power chord.
Isn't that why most people play in drop D to gett that easy power chord?

Its only a powerchord, if you play the 1 & 5 (F-C OR C-G).
Playing all 3 strings, together, creates a real chord, rather than the interval known as a powerchord - F-C-G (1-2-5 or 4-1-5).
To make an F5 (F powerchord) over 3 strings, you'd have to play 333 (F-C-F)
