Most I know are old fart stuff, looking for suggestions for more contemporary stuff. I suppose also I could transpose some G, C, D songs as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Wow, my first post! Finally started taking lesson a few weeks ago, with my daughter, who is learning bass. Last night at my lesson, I was ready to start with "Knockin' on Heavens Door", which my teacher had started me on to get faster at open chord changes. He asked if I had ever heard of the "Hannakuh" song by Adam Sandler. I had, so he wanted to work on that. I thought he was kidding, but it turns out it's 3 open chords- A, D, and E. He says it's another one to practice the more changes on.

There are a number of folk songs that lend themselves to these chords (or they were originally written that way). Not sure what kind of genre you are looking to trace.

What did the guitarist do when he was told to turn on his amp?
He caressed it softly and told it that he loved it.
Key to the Highway uses those chords.
Not quite in that order
You can play any blues song using those chords if you like.
