so i narrowed it down to the yamaha acoustics on their page

BUT WHY SO MANY SIZES AND TYPES?

this is the page im looking at and many are "smaller sizes" etc etc why??

help me out please im just wanting a solid guitar and know these are highly rated for the price

Different sizes and woods can have effects on tone like bass tones mid tones and high. Depends what you prefer smaller bodies aren't as loud and lack low end unlike the regular dreadnought size. I own a yamaha love them definitely couldn't go wrong with a yammy. Buy one
