I was watching Bill Callahan's Black Cab Session version of his song River Guard, and wondered if I could figure out the chords to this simple-seeming, but beautiful, song. Here's what I reckon the 3 chords are:
B A C#m
E:--7------5------4---
B:--7------5------5---
G:--6------6------6---
D:--9------7------6---
A:--9------7------4---
E:--7------5------x---
He seems to play a Down-Down-Up-Up-Down pattern on the first 2 chords, then complicates it a bit on the third.
Does that sound about right?

Yes, right shapes - but his guitar is tuned a whole tone lower than standard - so he's actually playing A-G-Bm

I guess you could play it like the Tab on top but wouldn't it be A - G - Bm ( it says C# up there )?
