I was about to come on here and ask for the strumming pattern for Bryan Adams - On a Day Like Today. But I have been playing for a few months now and I think that it is time for me to start learning how to do it myself. Can anyone give advice on how to do it? I don't have a good ear for that kind of thing yet, so I need the easiest way possible.

I can look back with a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent.

If you dont have a good ear it simply would take you a bit longer before you can begin to pick patterns up on the fly. Your best bet would be to familiarize yourself with different strumming patterns.

Site below has a few

Also "dansm's" site has quite good, (google the name and you will find it)
