Metallica - One
(Except the end solo :P)
What's the difference between an orange?
The first riff I ever learned was Ironman, easy and fun :D The first full song I ever learned was Come Cover Me by Nightwish, then Stacy's Mom by fountains of Wayne.
"Blackbird" The Beatles, wrong but it sounded right at the time, thirty years later, saw a local guitarist playing the song on the local PBS station and figured out what I was doing wrong!
I always wondered why other guitarists looked at me funny when I'd play this at a jam! :?
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming......
like the passengers in his car.
The first whole song I learned was Tequila Sunrise.
All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.
The first song I did was Creed - Bullets.
Pink Floyds Wish You were here, rhythm only
Teenage kicks by the Undertones.
I never tire of playing it.
Taught it to my youngest son. It's the only song we play together at the moment but hopefully that will soon change.

"The only two things in life that make it worth living are guitars that tune good and firm feeling women" - Waylon
Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here" , Bob Marley "Redemption Song", Tracy Chapman "Bang bang bang!" were the first three I learned around the same time - they all had similar chords which I was learning to change C, G, D, Em.
A Day in the Life by The Beatles haven't played that song in a while now its getting boring.
First song I ever played AND sang along to was "Stand By Me" - the Lennon version, circa 1975....I even got the slide solo down in standard tuning! Can't go wrong with G, Em, C and D.......
:D :D :D
