- Hi, I'm a beginner who's currently learning hammering and pulling. The former isn't as easy as the latter. I have no issues pulling off to an open string, but I'm having difficulty with pulling to a fret. For example, strumming the third fret then pulling off to First. Is it possible anyone can make a video regarding this? YouTube videos only shows open string pulloffs which are quite simple.

Make sure the finger on the lower fret stays perfectly still, and pull off sideways. It takes some practise but it will pay dividends
