I've seen some people add bass to their fingerstyle arrangements, and was looking to try that as well. Just trying to get some feedback to see if it works or not.

Yes Joe, it works and is avery good thing to do. You're very percussive too, and that is awesome, and highly desirable. :D

Anyway, I'm all for seeing you add as much as possible to your own individual playing. Often IMO, more is better, and sweet candy to our ears!

In my own little world, I try to play 2 guitars at once on just one guitar by chopping and banging away at chords, moving my fingers to different positions before the next upstroke comes, also picking out individual notes and fills and some lead too, inbetween chordal riffs. I don't even know what to call it, but it sounds a bit like you, and Chet Atkins too - check his stuff.
