I didn't post this in the beginners forum because it's more of an observation than a question, forgive me if it's in the wrong spot.
After hearing Green Eyed Lady on the way to work the other day I looked up the tab when I got the chance and practiced it for a while. So tonight I put a CD in the player, put it on repeat and clumsily played along. After a while I was actually able to keep up in some spots and it felt fantastic, I gotta say. Never thought I'd be jammin' along with Sugarloaf so soon (I've been playing about 3 months) but man, it was fun. Looking forward to mastering it someday.
I highly recommend playing it if you're in the beginner stage and grew up with it like I did. It's fun to play, and not too difficult to learn. Rock on!

a truly great song. when I began guitar I played along with albums and then Cd's all the time. it's a great way to not play in a vacuum, learn chords and songs, use the ear instead of wrong Tabs, and learn a bit about the fret board.
good for you!
Thanks..............now if I could just find the chords...

there are quite a few tabs out there on the interweb. here is one.
no chords, just tabs.
if you search you will find a guy that has a video. I would have linked that but I don't like the sound of his guitar.
Thank you, that's the tab I'm using now. And although the verse fits with the organ solo, there's also a rythym guitar playing along and I'd like to play that part of the song too. I can't find any other tabs but maybe as time goes on I'll get good enough to figure that section out on my own.
Thanks for the help!
