I've now been playing guitar for about three months, and have been enjoying it very much. But i've realized that i don't know much about guitar theory. I would like to start off with scales and chord notes, could anyone suggests some internet sites.

Now, what's the question?"

This is an article about scales, which will get you started. :)

I would highly recommend Kirk Lorange's book "Plain Talk".

Of course the articles on this site by Jamie Andreas and Dave Hodge are excellent as well. You already have the link for Jamie's article, here is the link for Dave's. Check out "theory withour tears", "scaling the heights", "scales within scales" etc ...

A Guitar Noise member by the name of Noteboat has a book that will give you plenty to learn and actually understand.
