hello just bowsing and dreaming insted of working and came across this guitar just wanted some opinions is it good or bad or does anytone know of similar ones that are better?

More than anything you should play it and make sure you like the feel of the guitar.

Dean makes a pretty good guitar for the price. What is most important is to get out and try a few different ones. You can't decide what is right for you until you feel them and see if they like you also. So get out there, go shop to shop, trying as many guitars as you can in the price range you are willing to spend. Don't forget with an electric you need an amp if you don't already have one.

I played it a few times in a store. If all my guitars were stolen and I had to buy a new one with the money I have it would definitely be the Evo XM. Not very spectacular, but well finished and very playable.
I cannot vouch for the EVO but I do have a Dean electro-acoustic and I am very happy with it.
