hi i was just wondering what it means on tabs when you have somthing in brackets:

I sometimes see notes in brackets like that meaning the note was picked in the previous bar and held over (not picked again in the new bar but is still ringing as you hammer on the second note.) But I don't recall seeing it written quite like that. The smiley face has me confused.
Usually it means the note is still ringing from being hit previously.
Try using the code link. It won't screw up the tab you're trying to post like just submitting it does.
Ya got that submit button before I did MM :lol:
I imaging the smiley is because the board uses what he posted as smiley code. That's one of the reasons I told him to use the code button, it works much better for tab.
