cool, im not even attempting a song like that yet, but ive seen this type of sheet a lot, basically then they a just showing you how to play the chord.
i want to learn
It makes reading the "notes" easier, but has the disadvantage that you have no idea of the rhythm of the song - so to use tab, you have to know how the song goes first.

I started right off the bat learning to read music, it tells you so much more about a song then tablature does.
A good piece of software to help to is "Guitar Pro". It will show you tablature AND the written music below it. A very good tool (only a tool, not the end all and be all) for learning music. Also the speed builder is really great.
