Cool! What did you wind up ordering?
welcome.
I love sunbursts. IMO they sound better! :)
Sounds like a hot little setup. Good 4 U!

No problem asking questions - thats what the board is here for! Are you planning on getting that guitar setup? If not, you should.
i am in love. i just want to apologize in advance for the thousands upon thousands of questions that i'm about to begin asking.
Woohoo! Great day! :D
Ask and ask and ask... and play and play and play... 8)
And don't get too discouraged by those 'lovers tiffs' and awkward times you'll have along the way. :P If my guitar was a girlfriend she'd have given me a few black eyes along the way... and possibly got a slap or two back.. it can get a little tense at times... but the good times are sooooo sweet. It's all worth it.
I've got the SB model 2 and ofcourse I love it. I predict that you and your gear are gonna have some great times together.

Good for you!
Now start kickin' it! 8) (jammin' it, rockin' it... etc., not kicking it literally! )

well, my first obstacle as per my beginner's dvd was to learn the seven major chords. after about two hours of repetition tonight i memorized them.
then for the next two hours i decided to play through them and try to get my fingers to be able to make a switch, but i find i am not yet nearly dexterious enough to go from one chord to another. i can go from b throguh g to a and have it sound clean, but other than that and it's not even worth trying at this point.
a jump from anything to b, or anything to c just isn't happening yet.
then i took a break and played with the distortion and pedal settings just to give my mind a break.
then i repeated the original lesson for another hour.
and now the tips of the fingers on my left hand are about ready to fall off.
but it is awesome nonetheless
:D stay keen....be as patient as you can be...but above all keep the faith :?
Good set up, congrats! You seem to have started quite a practice regimen, that;s great. Just remember playing guitar is about having fun, too.
It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!
Congrats on the gear purchase.
Let the fun begin. :)
