A few years ago H&K made some very wicked devices which are more or less 1W tube amps.
Yes, Heckler and Koch have a lot of wicked devices, but I think you're referring to the Hughes & Kettner line - the 1W tube amps are great for bedroom play, because you are running them full tilt almost all of the time.
I have the Cream machine, which runs a 12AX7 (1W power amp) and a 12AT7 (pre-amp), but there are other variants, like the Metal Master, that runs 2 12AX7's (although I could run the Cream Machine with the same). Mean sound and no-one goes deaf. Going price on ebay is about $50.
