I have an acoustic (Epi EF500R) and I recently put light strings with nanoweb coating on it.
Hope I can explain this so it makes sense. When I pick a string, as I am removing my finger from the fret, I get a little buzz. It does this on every string, and it doesn't buzz when I pick it, it only buzzes as I'm lifting my fretting finger. I didn't have this problem till I changed strings (the original strings were heavier than these and didn't have a coating.)
Is this something I need to correct in my playing, or does the guitar need adjustment, or should I use different strings?
I bet it is just because you callouses are not formed well enough yet. This may sound strange but I have heard it said that the softness of your fingers can prevent a clean lift off which causes the buzzing.
Cheers,
Max
I have the same problem but I think part of it has to do with the fact that I'm using a crappy no-name guitar.
