With your amp set to a fairly low gain setting, you can play pretty much the same stuff on electric as acoustic. Won't always work when you crank up the gain. That's when you mostly fall into playing "power chords" and single-note melodies. Keep the sound simple and it won't get muddy.

And when that happens you can just turn up the gain and let the distortion cover your errors. :wink:Distortion works quite well at covering errors. That's one of the first things I figured out with the electric!
