I love this beautiful acoustic song. I think it's beautiful, but when I look up the tabs and try to play with the song it sounds HORRIBLE, but it sounds "alright" without the music going. Which suggests to me it's in the wrong key.

Now his sounds higher than my open, but I can't seem to find a spot with my kapo where it sounds right. can someone help me out here?

that's the tab i'm working with right now. Seems everyone has the same. Chord Progression.

"Now people put you down for the way that you lived
But those people never knew you the way that I did
Don't be ashamed of who you were of how you died
I know you just wanted to find the brighter side..." - OPM

I'm an idiot.
It's different tuing!

My apoliges, though any tips for the song are still welcome. All the other tabs didn't SAY it was in different tuing, but this one does so I look like a fool. hahaha

They just assume (and this is for reference to any other new guitarists looking to rock some G 'N R as well) that all songs played by this wondrous band are in Flat E Standard. (everything down one half a step!)

Henry Garza, Saul Hudson, and Darrell Abbott could not be here tonight, but they all had sex and are proud to announce the birth of their two-headed baby, Rodya S. Thompson.

I got the same shock the first time I was reading tabs for Sweet Child 'o Mine.

"Dang, this sure doesn't sound like Slash!"

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...
