Hey, guys!

How on EARTH do I play this song? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/d/decemberists/eli_the_barrow_boy_crd.htm

I know I'm supposed to play an Am chord at the start, but what do those /B and /G chords mean??? Here's how the song is played on youtubwe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr0b3W-D7Uo

Thank you so much.

EDIT: shoot! Fixed the link!

Your first link doesn't work, tanthalas.

(EDIT: an hour or so later and it's now working.)

If you put your cursor on the chord (over the "/B" or whatever), a chord diagram appears that shows you how to play it. The "/B" is simply a barre B chord - I can only imagine that the tabber is telling you to slide up to it.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I don't believe the tabber wants the guitarist to play a full B chord because it wouldn't sound right. I posted a video of someone playing the song on Youtube to help clarify that (or at least, try to clarify :D ). Thanks for the help though!

Anyone other suggestions or help?

He seems to have tabbed an inside B chord - low and high E are not played.
