I'm having a problem with sliding down frets. Have no problem sliding up. When I try to slid down I get the first note, but not the note I'm sliding down to. What am I doing wrong?

I see this from the 11 year-olds that I teach. You're relaxing your fret-hand pressure on the strings as you move.

Also - you're probably leading by moving the middle/ ring fingers first when you slide chords, expecting the index finger to go with it, and the hand is all scrunching up. You need to keep the shape as you move the chord down the neck - do it very slowly and you should be able to hear a step change in the chord.
