Hello everyone I've been playing for 1.5 months and I really dont understand this tablature.
First, here is the song I want to learn: http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1831TP93CEHDP3BQM20W8DB1J9

Here is how Tweedy played it solo acoustic.
This is what's played when "[D G]" is written:

I have no idea how that sounds like the song. I'm not even sure if I am playing it right. Can someone give me a good fingering from the transition of xx0232 to 300030 to 300032? And what is the F# chord (I prob wont even get to that part but i would like to know). What kind of strumming pattern is this.
This is a really cool live song, hope you guys at least enjoy the song.
Thanks
I'd suggest for the fingering....
The x00323 chord...D...use a mini-barre acroos the top 3 strings, use your 3rd sring for the B string at the 3rd fret....
For the 300030 chord, I'd use my thumb for the bottom E string, any fingering you like for the B string....
Then the really awkward one, the 300032, I'd leave the thumb in the same place, first finger for the E string, 2nd finger for the B....
But then again, I'm used to using my thumb for chords like D....2(thumb) 00232 Bm...22( Thumb across bothE and A strings at the second fret!) 224322 and F#m - thumb on the second fret of the bottom E, pinkie and 3rd fingers on the D and A strings respectively, mini-barre across the GB &E strings....
It's well worth using your thumb for bass notes, in my humble opinion, still gives you 3-4 fingers to play around with....
:D :D :D
