Hi

I've changed the action on my guitar 2 days ago, and now, there are some buzzing sound from the 12th fret to the 22th fret.

Now, I guess I have to ajust the neck with the truss rod? But which side to I have to turn it if the buzzing sound is between the 12 and 22 fret?

Do I have to turn towards me or towards the first string?

I ajust the truss rod only one time and I don't remeber which side to turn

Thanks

I can't say for sure but if all guitars adjust the same way this shouldn't be a problem.

Try this site....from our own Nils who has forgotten where we live.

The truss rod adjusts the flatness of the neck. If you put a straight edge along the frets, ideally there should be a slight gap visible at the 7th fret. Instead of a staightedge you could press down on the D string at the 1st fret and last fret. Once you have this correct the string heights can be adjusted at the bridge. Quite simple on an electric with adjustable saddles. A little more complicated with an acoustic saddle. Sometimes the nut slots need to be fine tuned to give you the best height action.
This is one way of doing it.
