Hi all,

I have inherited an Ashton Ga4012R amp which was working well..

Unfortunately the boost channel has become very temperamental and cutting in and out. The clean channel works perfectly. The boost channel will not catch the distortion when I add gain and the same happens when I try and put a distortion pedal through the clean channel.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

Not sure what you mean by "catch the distortion". The amount of distortion should be controlled by the gain control, and the overall channel volume by the level control. If I'm not mistaken this is a solid state amp?

I would also like to know what you mean by "catch the distortion."
