I have been looking into getting a twelve string acoustic for awhile now and I wanted to know your opinions on the cheapest but best 12 string.. I asked this question before with a 6 string and I was told to get a Seagull which I did s6 cedar + and I am very happy with it while looking online for twelve strings I came across this http://www.music123.com/Seagull-S12--i234202.music#overview

It looks just like my 6 string and is a little too much Im looking for something between 250-350 but if it really makes a difference I can go higher...Thanks in advance for any help you have.

I played a Takamine acoustic/electric a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic but it runs around $700. I think they have a non-electric for around $500 but worth looking into.

Washburn and Ibanez make a nice one also and is in the $200 to $250 range.

Man, I would love to get one of those bad boys, but I'm holding out for inheriting one from my brother-in-law. He lost the last knuckle on his middle finger of his left hand years ago. Even before that, his 12 string was just sitting in a closet since college. Now he can't even play with the loss of the finger. His wife, my sister, mentioned that he should give his guitars to me (he has a 6 string too) and I'm kinda holding out that she'll convince him :D

Norman 12-strings are pretty good, may want to check that out too. I am not sure of the price range though, might not be too much higher then what you mentioned.
