If you were looking to spend $1,000 to $1,500 on a classical guitar, what would you buy? :?:

Myself, I'm not sure I'd spend that much on a classical. Sure their are some out there that cost that much but I have found that you really don't have to spend that much to get a good quality classical. So far brand wise I have found the Cordobas to be fantastic. You can check some of them out here: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/home/navigation?befree_site_id=0037067971&q=cordoba&sourceid=qIZwRCnZAi26AjWcwxjs&submit=GO

They have a pretty good price range.

Washburn Mercury MG-74, Stagg L-320 goth, Carvin SX-100 amp, Maestro Stage phaser. Gibson Model: L-47 Acoustic Archtop(broke and unplayable since the day i got it), Cordoba 40R Nylon string classical.Φ

There is a wide range there. Any one in particular strike your fancy?

Admira - excellent guitars. Got two myself. The Teresa is just top class and I still want one as my main concert guitar

My fav is the 45R. It has a really nice bassy sound that I like. Really though, you need to go and play a few for yourself to see what you really like. If you are a beginner and can't play yet then just ask someone that works in the store to play a few for you.

Are you looking for something with more of a bass sound or something with a little more highs to it? If you want bass you're looking for something with a cedar top. If it's highs you want then something with a spruce top would be what you're looking for.
