This is already in the database. So, if y'all have no problems with my decision, I will remove this thread in a couple of days.

Can you let us know when you've shifted a song to the database - Don't ask me how, you're the moderator Mark! Cheers - Vic
:) :)
and as a post-script - remember this is a completely (well not quite!!) computer-illiterate thicky-thicko you're talking to - how do I access the songs on the database?
If this is a stupid question please bear with me - I only ask when I can't work it out for myself!!!
Cheers mate, Vic......... :)
Vic, look at markyesme signature, you'll see the links there, just click on em. then maybe bookmark them if you want. 8)
Like I said Grim - thicky thicko!!!! DOH! - found it

Did not see it already in the database. So long as both are available under one thread, that's cool.
Yes the V A are down - up.

hello all
I tried to play it a couple of times, no worry about chord changes but i'm not so sure about the best strummin pattern. To my ears the song has a bit of shuffle feel so I play it with a D u for each beat but i'm not utterly satisified, any suggestions?
thanks
Matteo
I love this song
I know what you mean about a shuffle sound
I tend to strum
D Dsus4 D Dsus4 etc etc etc
it tends to give it that little shuffle affect you mention
Many are called but few are chosen.
Matteo and Heyesie,
Regarding the shuffle, rather than the D Dsus4, pattern; I hold the D chord position and instead of the Dsus4 I simply place my pinky on the 3rd string of the 4 fret. With only a little practice it feels quite natural and sounds close to the original to me.

Hello all
just a bit addiction to the already excellent posti, an addiction which can be helpful
chord progression
verse goes like this: D (1/2) - A (1/4) - G (1/4) - D (repeat it four times)
chorus: G-D-A (1/2)-G(1/2)-D
strummin pattern
I find it quite easy to play with a d..U or also d...D pattern for each beat of course played with a triplets feel

Matteo
What does 1/2 and 1/4 mean
Are you saying half beats and quarter beats
