This is a great song, sounds really cool with just a rythym guitar.
The strumms follow the syllables of the lyrics with lots of muting. The E7 is played as an E chord with the baby finger hitting the E7 fingering for 2 seperate upstrumms and E for the downstrumms.
I cant take credit though, I scooped this of then net. Accurate chords.E D
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

One caveat about these being accurate chords - this is going to be a song for a capo/transposition for a lot of people.
Shannon Hoon's voice was so high it's beyond the reach of a lot of people. Singing it exactly one octave down is too low to be comfortable for me, and I dare say a few others too. I sing capo'd at the 5th myself, and then bring the vocals down to match.
