The D6 shape is a bit of a stretch, but it's doable. I also found out my guitar was out of tune when playing this :)
I'd always dismissed this is a bit of a sappy song (and I actually really like John Mayer, in general), but playing this through a few times and singing along really made me aware that it's actually quite a beautiful song.

For a long time I'd only really been aware of the chorus, and never thought about the first verse, which really sets up the story. It makes it a lot more poignant.
