Another to add to Vic's offering, great and easy to play once you get the strum pattern going, I tend to listen to the track and dive in when I think I can follow. Great for chord change practice also.

Intro: G D G A D G A D E D

D---------------------A----------G-------------
Well it's alright, riding around in the breeze
D----------------------------A-------D-----------
Well it's alright, if you live the life you please
D-----------------------A---------G-------
Well it's alright, doing the best you can
D--------------------------A------D------------
Well it's alright, as long as you lend a hand
G------------------------------D------------------------------------------------
You can sit around and wait for the phone to ring, At the end of the line
G-------------------------D----------------------------------------------
Waiting for someone to tell you everything, At the end of the line
G-----------------------D---------------------------------------------------
Sit around and wonder what tomorrow'd bring, At the end of the line
------A-----------------
Maybe a diamond ring

Well it's alright, even if they say you're wrong
Well it's alright, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's alright, as long as you got someone to lay
Well it's alright, every day is just one day
Maybe somewhere down the road a way, At the end of the line
You'll think of me and wonder where I am these days, At the end of the line
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays, At the end of the line
Purple haze

Well it's alright, even if push comes to shove
Well it's alright, if you got someone to love
Well it's alright, everything'll work out fine
Well it's alright, we're going to the end of the line
Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive, At the end of the line
I'm just glad to be here, happy to be alive, At the end of the line
And it don't matter if you're by my side, At the end of the line
I'm satisified

Well it's alright, even if you're old and gray
Well it's alright, you still got something to say
Well it's alright, remember to live and let live
Well it's alright, best you can do is forgive
Well it's alright, riding around in the breeze
Well it's alright, if you live the life you please
Well it's alright, even if the sun don't shine
Well it's alright, we're going to the end of the line

Have fun

Chris.

p.s
I heard `Cindy Incidently' by the Rod & the Faces on the way home last night. Vic do you or Wes have the chords for it? Pure magic when you blast it out in the car.

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)

Yeah, Cindy is a GREAT song, haven't heard it for a while, I'll have to dig it out and see what I can do......

Can anybody help with the strum pattern? I'm still struggling to pick those up.

Well done Jonnyt,

That intro is spot on

And you are right about the chorus but I have found that about 237ms delay always adds to the chorus effect and seems to lift the whole riff
and giff it more depth (IMHO)

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Thanks. I tried figuring it out last night and failed miserably. Sometimes I can pick them up, but most times I can't. I guess the more I try, the better I get. Seems that way, anyway.

Do you use the same basic pattern through the verses or switch to something else?
