Yesterday I found this video on YouTube and remembered your request. I don't know if you finally figured out the song. Anyway, I hope it helps.

Great! :D

Just there is a comment in the final verses: Shift the chords one tone higher: D.

It will do funnier! 8)

I've looked all over for Out in the country (not sure that's the actual title) by Three Dog Night and Hercules by Elton John off Honky Chateau a rockin little song. Both have great acoustic guitar parts.

In an effort to clean up space, I'm requesting that you put any REQUESTS FOR TAB on this thread. When a request is granted, I'll delete it from here. If it's answered with a link, then I'll try to consolidate them within the thread.

This should help to make the Easy Song Page a little easier to navigate.

Any requests for TAB not on this thread will get deleted as we're going to try like crazy to make this thing work. Your patience and cooperation is, as ever, appreciated more than you'll ever know.

Peace
can anyone give me the intro to stay with me by the faces (not the unplugged version) or any ron wood stuff would be great. cheers my dears

I was watching the movie "knocked up" and I heard Loudon Wainwright"s version of Peter Blegvad's "daughter" in the movie. I went to Loundon Wainwright's website and you can download a live video of him playing the song. My wife and I are in the process of adopting a little girl from China and I would really love to learn this song to play it for her. I searched everywhere and cannot find any tabs for this song. Can anyone help?

Hartleys - great name for a jam session.....sorry, couldn't resist that!

The intro's played mostly on the D G and B strings.....starts in E, put your 1st finger across those strings at the 9th fret and try alternating between

D G B
9 9 9

and
D G B

11 9 10

then move that 1st finger down to the seventh fret - use the same shapes and alternate between them.

Then down to the second fret, still on the D G and B strings as if you're playing an A chord - alternate between them, but play the 9th (G string, 4th fret) and the 6th (D string, 4th fret) throwing in the root A note (the open A string now and then.)

It's 2.45 am here - to tired to open notepad and tab it out, I'll get back to you in the AM, OK?

:D :D :D

I'm currently working on Beast of Burden. I did review Teleplayers wonderful post of the "Some Girls" album. While I get the chord progressions, I'm having some difficulty figuring out some of the little "transitions and licks" that seems to pull the chords together.

For the intro, right now I'm playing B (barred at 7th fret), hammering onto the E barre (7th fret), then to the C#Minor (barred at the 4th fret). I know there's a transition to the A barre at the 5th at this point, but I'm having a devil of a time figuring it out!

Any help from those with greater skill than I would be most appreciated! Thanks.

Dave

MarktheChuck is requesting Photograph by Nickelback. Since he's relatively new, he probably didn't see that we have a request thread, so I'm making the request in order to clear the board.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Peace

PS - DC Marshall, how detailed a transcription are you looking for? There are any number of books that have the rhythm for Beast of Burden tabbed out. I'll be more than happy to see whether or not I've a copy somewhere around the house.

Peace

I wonder if anyone can help me with the classic "Drivers seat" by Sniff N the Tears . I was noodling with the guitar mixing up bm, a major and G major and it sounded a bit like this song. This link shows them performing it, not sure if the acoustic is capoed. It seems its a couple of parts played over and over, I just cant get the exact places the changes are coming. Any help please
