Hi Mike. I was looking through the easy song index. The Song Lido Shuffle is by Boz Scaggs. The list shows Lido Shuffle - Lido Shuffle. I didn't include that bit of info in my post. Sorry 'bout that. Will do in the future.

No sweat, Roy. Thanks for letting me know.

As much as I love my music, I don't know them all, so any and all corrections are welcome.

Thanks again,

Mike

"Flowers on the Wall" The Statler Brothers

Okay, I like the song, so here's my first attempt at this. I usually play it kinda fast with an alternating double down/double up strum (vv ^^ vv^^ vv^^v) with a short rest in between. I play a slow single 3 note intro,,,A string 2nd fret >3rd fret > D string second fret which leaves me set up for the opening C. I do the same thing between the chorus and verse, but I hit the A string open first, then hammer the 2nd fret and do the same thing all over. Hope I did it right and that you'll like it.

verse...

C Am
I keep hearin you're concerned about my happiness

D7 G
But all that thought your giving me is conscience I guess

C Am
If I were walking in your shoes, I wouldn't wory none

D7 G
While you and your freinds worryin' 'bout me, I'm having lots of fun.

Cho....
Am
Countin' flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all
Playin' solitare 'til dawn, with a deck of fifty-one.
F
Smokin' cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo
G
Now don't tell me
F G
I've nothin' to do

2nd verse
Last night I dressed in tails, pretended I was on the town
As long as I can dream it's hard to slow this singer down
So please don't give a thought to me, I'm really doin' fine
You can always find me here and havin' quite a time

Cho...

3rd verse
It's good to see you, I must go, I know I look a fright
Anyway, my eyes are not accustomed to this light
And my shoes are not accustomed to this hard concrete
So I must go back to my room and make this day complete

Chorus twice, fading second time, ending on C

Don't know why it doesn't post as written but

the 1st Am belongs over "about"
the G belongs over "conscience"
the Am belongs over "wouldn't"
G belongs over "havin'"

Since it's your first submission, there are a few things you probably want to know:

First off, this is the "Submissions" page. It's a place where the tabbers can put the links to their own thread, that way I don't have to look all over for them. Amongst other reasons, it makes it easier if someone asks a question, you aren't answering it in the "submissions" page.

Second, if you want to have the chords to show over the corresponding chord change area/word, Greybeard has a sticky showing how to use the code feature. Just follow the link.

Third, we don't encourage plagiarism (i.e. copy and pasting from another site). So if you did take any of this from another website, please refer to the site in which you obtained the tab so you are not considered the author, and are not receiving credit for the hard word that was put into making the tab.

If you have any questions, you can pm me anytime.

Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike, I submitted Suspicious Minds by Elvis. https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=38084

Anything else you need? I've been really bad about not putting something in this thread when submitting.
