My body's aching, and my heart is feeling weak
I'll be all right, I'll be OK
Come on baby, listen to what I say
G
I don't need your money, don't need your car
I'm doing all right, doing all right so far

Chorus – Repeat and fade

Just a little side note: The author of this song (Jerry Lynn Williams) was a personal friend of mine for years and years until he died a few years ago. Eric Clapton covered some of his songs, too. I actually got to watch him go through his songwriting process several times. He was amazing, may he rest in peace. He only released 2 albums himself and concentrated on songwriting. If you EVER get the chance to find Jerry Williams' "Gone" or his first album "Down Home Boy" GET THEM!! They're way out of print, but they're definitely worth looking for. Oh, and they only come in vinyl.
