So this one is off of green days newest album. Its pretty easy to play (assuming i tabbed it right...and thats a big assumption!) - its also a pretty catchy song if you ask me. Anyway, its all power chords, so i guess the best way to do this is just put it with the lyrics (i put a few notes throughout)...

b5 and e5 repeating (at 7th fret)

b5 e5
Do you know the enemy?
b5 e5
Do you know your enemy?
b5 e5 f#5
Well, gotta know the enemy

just continue that same pattern through these next sections...*

Do you know the enemy?
Do you know your enemy?
Well, gotta know the enemy

Do you know the enemy?
Do you know your enemy?
Well, gotta know the enemy

Violence is an energy
Against the enemy
Violence is an energy

Bringing on the fury
The choir infantry
Revolt against the honor to obey

Overthrow the effigy
The vast majority
Burning down the foreman of control

Silence is the enemy
Against your urgency
So rally up the demons of your soul

Do you know the enemy?
Do you know your enemy?
Well, gotta know the enemy

Do you know the enemy?
Do you know your enemy?
Well, gotta know the enemy

e5(7th fret) b5 (2nd fret)
The insurgency will rise
e5 b5
When the bloods been sacrificed
e5 b5
Don't be blinded by the lies
f#5
In your eyes

f#5 and b5 repeating (2nd fret)

*SOLO - see below*

f#5 b5
Violence is an energy
f#5 b5
From here to eternity
f#5 b5
Violence is an energy
f#5 b5
Silence is the enemy
f#5 b5 f#5....
So gimme gimme revolution

b5 and e5 repeating (at 7th fret)

b5 e5
Do you know the enemy?
b5 e5
Do you know your enemy?
b5 e5 f#5
Well, gotta know the enemy

Do you know the enemy?
Do you know your enemy?
Well, gotta know the enemy

Overthrow the effigy
The vast majority
Burning down the foreman of control

Silence is the enemy
Against your urgency
So rally up the demons of your soul

Ok, so the solo below is not really complete, but it seems he is just using the G# pentatonic at the 16th fret, so i suppose you could just go crazy with it if you want (i do...). I'm sure there's lots of mistakes, but im not very good at tabbing stuff, let along solos - as simple as this one is.

Throw out whatever corrections you notice - the above is sort of a "rough draft" of sorts - due in part to my inability to stick with 1 song for more than 3.5 minutes! ... Enjoy!
