I Saw The Light
Hank Williams
G
1. I wandered so aimless life filled with sin
C G
I wouldn't let my dear savior in
Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night
D7 G
Praise the Lord I saw the light
G
2. Just like a blind man I wandered along.
C G
Worries and fears I claimed for my own.
Then like the blind man that God gave back his sight
D7 G
Praise the Lord I saw the light.
G
3. I was a fool to wander and stray.
C G
Straight is the gate and narrow the way.
Now I have traded the wrong for the right
D7 G
Praise the Lord I saw the light.
Chorus
G
I saw the light I saw the light
C G
No more darkness, no more night.
Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight.
D7 G
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

Love that one. Tried it a couple of times in the past but could not seem to nail a strum pattern that felt right. What do you use?

Hank Williams used a bass strum pattern. I use a syncopated pattern a friend taught me.
