Same chords all through the song.

Verse 1
Bmaj (2 measures 1+2 3+4 or DUD DUD)
There's clothes all over the floor
Dmaj (2 measures 1+2 3+4 or DUD DUD)
don't remember them being here before
Gmaj Amaj
Smell of perfume isn't here, why's lipstick on the mirror

1 measure of G 1+2+3+4+ or DUDUDUDU) (1 measure of A 1+2+3+4+ or DUDUDUDU)
I have found that doing all downstrokes for all eight notes keeps the bass goin...)

Emaj 2 measures (1+2 3+a 4e+a 1, silent for beats 2,3,4 DUDDDUDUDU D,2,3,4.)
And still I don't understand

Verse 2
No pictures left in the hall
There's three new holes in my wall
Where the hell's my credit cards, why's my wallet in the yard
Still I don't understand

Chorus
Well now I guess I should've listened
When you said you'd had enough
A little trick I picked up from my father, in one ear and out the other
Why's love gotta be so tough?

Verse 3
Should see the look on my face
My shit's all over the place
Why's this happenin to me, why'd you take both sets of keys
And still I don't understand

Chorus

And now I guess I should've listened
(bridge)

Verse 4
There's clothes all over the floor
don't remember them being here before
There are no candles in here, lipstick's still on my mirror
And still I don't understand

ChorusX2

Here's how I play it:
B Maj(2 measures 1+2 3+4 or DUD DUD) accent the 2nd and 4th beats give it some punch
D Maj(2 measures 1+2 3+4 or DUD DUD)
G Maj 1 measure of G 1+2+3+4+ or DUDUDUDU)
A Maj (1 measure of A 1+2+3+4+ or DUDUDUDU)
E Maj 2 measures (1+2 3+a 4e+a 1, silent for beats 2,3,4 DUDDDUDUDU D,2,3,4.)

I think the actual recording can be strummed 1+2 3e+a 4+a for Bmaj and Dmaj
Just remember you start singing first until you get to "floor" then start strumming.
This is my first attempt and I've been playing a year so feel free to add any changes..
Long time lurker, I just registered, this site is great and has helped a lot
I play it on acoustic (Taylor 310ce)
Make it your own, I think the hardest part we have is figuring out strumming patterns and how long to stay on each measure...

John

Don't know my chord changes arent aligning correctly when I preview??
