Hi, in the requests someone named "bganoe" requested this song. This song was tabbed by Dan Smith on his website, but I just took out all the tabs and placed in the chords so it was easier to read while I was playing.

Dan's website is: http://scenicnewengland.net/guitar/index.html

In case anyone hasn't heard of him.

I love playing this song :)

The voicing for D#maj7 is x11333 for the benefit of those that haven't come across it (well, technically that's an inversion, but you get the drift). Think of it as a barred Bb with the third finger shifted by one string if you have trouble remembering it - that's how I got it into my head :)

D#maj7 chord...

In the original tab of this song, the fingering for D#maj7 is x65333 which is a killer chord to finger. So I looked it up on chordfind.com for an alternative fingering pattern and x11333 is a much easier chord to play.

Thanks for updating, I forgot to place the chord charts for this one.

Quick question....from other tabs I've seen and from listening to the song, it seems that the chord after D#maj7 in the verse is an F chord, not a D chord.

Also, at the end of the chorus, the last chord stays F and does not switch back to D#maj7 ("Will she smell alone......"), though the percussive muting stops at that point.

Can anyone provide confirmation or insight? Thanks.

By the way....nice job with the tab.

Hi iraesq,

For an accurate tab of the song, Dan Smith has a great tab (from where I just Chorded it out, so I could read it on on page) on his website. He explains it very well. So take a look at his tab, I may have made some mistakes.
