Could you also send it to me at greybeard@guitarnoise.com
Thanks

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I now know a little more. The tune is really titled "Steeled Blues" and was originally performed by the Yardbirds and was released as the B-side to "Heart Full of Soul" in 1965. It was, later, re-recorded by Jeff Beck, who was, if I remember correctly, also the Yardbird's guitarist, at the time of "Heart Full of Soul". It has also appeared on Yardbirds and Jeff Beck albums, I think.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I realised as soon as I heard your mp3 what it was. (I heard the original when it was first released  )

Sorry to resurrect this , but I've since heard another piece, that I now think is, possibly, the original, which was recorded by Eddie Cochran and called "Eddie's Blues" - although I wouldn't bet money that he hadn't "borrowed" it from someone else.
