Really surprised to find the new index has not a single Beach Boys song in it, well time to rectify that little error.

The unusual chords in this are, and there are only two non standards open chords C6 and Cmaj7
played open they are
C6
x32210
Cmaj7
x32000
If you want to play this using barre chords
Cmaj7
x35453
C6 (this is a bit of a stretch)
x37553
You can finish the song by continually singing the last line until you expire or just hit a nice big G chord, probably better than the first option.
Hope you enjoy playing this.
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

For those who have trouble with the C6 either way, you could try x35555.....or x05555, or, alternatively, you could put an Am7 in there....
For C6, you'd need the 1st 3rd 5th and 6th notes in the scale of C, which are C(I) E(III) G(V) & A(VI)....
For Am7, you'd need the I. bIII, V and bVII in the scale of A, which are, respectively, A C E & G.....so the same four notes are used in both chords.....

Thanks guys, nice work... now if you can just russle me up some spare time?
Wow! Thanks Rodders! And I say wow because this song was the first single I ever bought. (Showing my age!) But it was the original version by the all girl group The Crystals, titled "Then He Kissed Me". Produced by Phil Spector, it established the "Wall of Sound" and even at my tender age, it absolutely knocked me out!! It's a double pleasure because I love the Beach Boys . . . so bring 'em on.
Can't wait to give this one a go.
"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak."
Good one Rodders,
Thats plugged a gap in the ESD. Classic song.

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)

Phil Spector, currently free on $1 million bail, had been scheduled to stand trial on April 24, 2006. It was announced April 25, 2006 that due to scheduling conflicts, the judge involved has postponed the date of the trial until January 16, 2007. Spector additionally faces a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Lana Clarkson's mother, Donna Clarkson, but it won't go ahead until after the criminal trial proceedings. [8]
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.
