This is a great song to work on barre chords, particularly the "E-form" and "A-minor form". Note the following chords:
C#m: 446654 (form Am with middle, ring and pinky and use index as the bar (nut)
F#m: 244222 (form E with middle, ring and pinky but lift middle-use index as the bar
Ab: 466544 (form E with middle, ring and pinky and use index as the bar.
Add to this the B7 (021202) and you have a pretty good work out. By the way, it helps to slide in and out of the E chord by fingering it with your middle, ring and pinky. Actually, this is pretty important as you will find it much much simpler to slide from E to Ab to F#m in this manner.
Oh yeah, one last thing: The first G chord in the Bridge I prefer to play "normally" (320002). But the 2nd and 3rd G chords I prefer the drone of the G fingered as 320033. It's a really cool sound.
This song, much like Hotel California, is well worth the effort as these chord shapes will enable your guitar playing to grow expotentially!! Besides, it's another great song by the Fab Four!
