In my old wardrobe at my mother's house is a pair of genuine 1970's hipster flairs (jeans, not Rupert Bear's). I tried them on last weekend, when I made a flying visit to the old lady's - and they fitted (well, almost - another 1" off my waist and I'll be able to embarass the kids, without any overhang ).

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I had the same waist size from leaving school in '74 - 32"....till last year, when I suddenly expanded to 34".....blame it on the beer....!!!!!

:( :( :(

Vic

(the real problem when it comes to buying Jeans is the 36" inside leg....at least that's stayed the same......unlike the waist.....)

Same thing happened to me Vic. I hit 45 and my waist hit 34.

Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

what was it Teleplayer said....."hit 45 and the waist hit 34"....yeah, and the bank balance hit "Zero" about the same time....but at least the pants got smaller around the "flared" section.....

How are you finding the Mountain tab? I think Em is right, for me anyway suits my gravelly voice anyway.

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Oh the 70's

shucks I'm too young to remember them

Wishful thinking on my part I do think

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
