where were YOU after 6 months?

when i first started i spent to much time learning just fingering and scales because all i wanted to go was learn to solo so i could show off. Then i was told that i should realy learn some chords other wise i would be usless. learning chords nealy put me off learning compleatly. for some reason i couldnt get my head around the finger movements all together aswell as strum patterns they were a big killer. i think it wasnt till about 9months in to it that i actually got to grips with them.

still mess up occasionally tho!
