Check this out, I found it today! Turns out Fender are releasing a range of cool retro 70's esque pedals just after christmas. If they're anything like the Fender Blender, it's gonna be a wicked new year (I got one recently and the amount of sounds you can get is just wicked). Phaser, Fuzz, Volume and Tone....can't be bad.. :D

Spam from honest folks about stuff I'm interested in doesn't bother me, at least not in moderation. This seems like reasonable news to me.

For me, if it's in the 'Indie Music sales and site/product promotion' thread, I'm fine with it.
When it's in a thread like this, especially under the guise of casual talk among players, I think it crosses the line.
I wonder sometime if these 'viral marketers' ever have to go to HQ and answer:
'So how'd it go on GN?'
The answer I'm guessing:
'Uh, the vibe wasn't great...'

i agree that spam or legit info from trusted sources is actually welcome, but sources like Fender,Gibson, or (insert your fav manufacturer here) should register a representative to offer up the "news" or ad instead of posing as a registered user.
it comes across as dishonest, and is an insult to our intelligence.
