I'm going to throw in a chance card and say Bm7 perhaps.
It's a real "by ear" guess as I'm nowhere near my guitar to try it out.
Apologies in advance Rod

Sorry Chris you are a fret too low on that if your playing it on the 7th, So not Bm7
A couple of little hints, its an extension of a 7th, its not E and its not B

Hi Rodders,
I'm here but I don't know the chord. I tried to recognize without read the other proposals but I agree with Vic. I thought the chord was [-76770] and Vic said [076770], really the E note is in the chord, therefore, both are the same chord.
You and Vic are both right with the fingering Nuno, but you are both on the wrong fret as it's a # chord and as there are no #'s to the E chord etc etc etc

I don't have my guitar with me so a new try should be completely random.
Vic, your turn! :)

O.K. guys,
It will be a little while please be patient. Up to my eyes in paint and swearwords at the moment, decorating the bathroom ""AGAIN"" today. Trish changed her mind on the colour of the room after I'd finished it last week.
I'll se what I can drum up tomorrow.

Well here it it as long last. Thanks for waiting,. You will find it on link below:
Clues:
This great chord is used a lot in songs by a refreshing Brit band in a desert.
and by by a band with a deadly name and their rather prickly song about a beautiful flower.
Best of luck all.
I may have given away too much already

Sounds like a Cadd9 to me Chris - x32033 - although when you arpeggiate, sounds like you're using the thumb and playing 332033..........
I got the first clue but not the second....

Yes Vic,
You got it dead on mate. "Cadd9", a very versatile little chord.
The deadly band with the prickly song clue:-
Band "Poison" and the song "Every Rose Has It's Thorn"
you next Vic
And yeah sorry! accidently caught the bottom E string there. and it was the thumb because I don't get on with plectrums very well.

It's called Guess That Chord......
(A clue - it's a slightly unusual voicing of a slightly extended chord.....and it ISN'T a full barre chord......it's used on two of the biggest - and best, IMHO - hits of the 70's....and they're both in the ESD, though neither is played with this voicing, although one of them almost is......)
