I'm back and I know this...
Fall On Me - R.E.M.
Got it!
One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.
Here is my new riff. A little more distorted than the original, but I think you'll get the idea...
Runnin' Down A Dream - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers ?

I'll give it to you. Actually it is from Tom Petty's first solo album, but considering most of the Heartbreakers performed on that album, you'd think it was TP & The Heartbreakers album :D
Ah, getting alittle tricky on us huh Boogie?!
Well, if you're going to accept my answer, here's an easy one for you all to guess: 32

Dan, Nicely done. I know it, but don't have anything ready and not sure I will have time to record anything until Friday night. If I get a few free minutes tomorrow night, I'll see about whipping out a riff. In the meantime, I'll give someone else a chance.
Thanks Boogie. Hopefully someone else will recognize it too. Now it's off to another day in the salt mines - nose to the grind stone - 9 to 5in' it for the man - you know how it is.

Whew, another long day finally over! Time to dig myself out a nice cold beer!

Sounds like you're really working hard man! Are you gooing to have to rush out and get that beer?
LOL! You got it Boogie, seems like I'm working all the time!

I'll make my guess official. Is it:
Working Man - Rush
If so, I'll post something tomorrow night. No time to record tonight. Wife's out of town and I'm kinda a wiped out. Too pooped to riff... so to speak.
You know you got it Boogie, riff on my man! 8)

A real golden oldie folks. 8)
This is a little different than our normal diet of rock songs. My instructor is using this song as a base for learning different chord voicings and blues improvisation. We worked on the melody last night.
One of my all time faves, Boogie. 8)
Those will be some great lessons I'll bet.
I haven't got anything prepped, so I'll leave it for someone else.
