No Cannonball and no Bill Evans (the studio pianist on the recording) but dang! that's smokin'! Miles Davis and John Coltrane together! Gotta love the attitude of the guys standing around looking cool during the solos. 8)

The band is from central Florida.
This song was the first single from their self titled debut album. Released in '76, it went nowhere, re-released in '77, it went to #40. Many, many bigger hits have followed.
