So Tracker reminded me a minute ago about a little game I'd run in my signature and it got my wondering if it would be viable to actually start a thread on here?

So the idea is basically the same as before, I will post random lyrics and everyone has a guess and when someone gets it right I'll post a new one.

How you find out is up to you,..Google, lyric sites, harrassing your teenagers, granny bashing etc.

And thats about it, really. If I post a difficult one I may offer a prize other than that you can rest in the knowledge your a musical genious.

However I think it would be interesting if people taking part would listened to the song the lyric is from and maybe left some feedback, it's not required but you never know you may end up finding something you like...

Anyway I just thought I would put it out there and see if anybody is interested or not.

Pet

Why don't you start a round and see how well it goes?

Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.

Blame it on the jet lag Graham....my remaining brain cell recognised Pet's "More than a feeling", but the other one is still 30-odd thousand feet above the Atlantic.....

It's like any airport watch, Vic, it will only work within 1 hour's distance of the port of origin. Go back to Minneapolis and, 1 hour out from the airport, it'll start working again.

Seems like you lot need a clue (or two, or more).

Canadian blues singer. Distinctive voice. Very good guitarist.

Got something of a breakthrough when a song was chosen to be the theme for a TV law-based series

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Ok, I thought I'd revive this thread. Should be fun to guess random lyrics.

"Oh, did you ever believe that I could leave you, standing out in the cold
I know how it feels 'cause I have slipped through to the very depths of my soul. "
